ICC Codes are updated on a 3 year cycle.
We participate with area cities through NCTCOG in a joint review
Public input has been sought at two hearings.

The 2006 IECC is a total revision from the 2003 edition.
Residential provisions as written are less restrictive than state mandates.
Texas A & M wrote amendments to comply with state law at NCTCOG request.

New sub climate zones created
Calculations are simplified from previous code.
New Code software provides data to Texas A&M Energy Lab for Federal Air Quality reports.
