A. Staff to present a briefing on various aspects of the Southlake 2030 Plan
3. BRIEFING ON SOUTHLAKE BOULEVARD CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
A. Staff to present a briefing on upcoming construction projects along Southlake
Blvd, to include medians, deceleration lanes, sidewalks and related work.
4. BRIEFING ON WAYFINDING SIGNS PROGRAM
A. Staff to present a briefing on the "Wayfinding" signs program recently adopted
by City Council.
5. BRIEFING ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & TOURISM STRATEGIC PLAN
A. Staff to present a briefing on current status of this plan.
6. PRESENTATION OF SOUTHLAKE DESTINATION VIDEO
A. Staff presentation of the Southlake destination video and overview of intended
uses for the video.
7. OPEN DISCUSSION
A. Discussion on topics of interest to the SBC members.
8. ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS
A. Approval of the minutes of the February 17, 2010 meeting

1. CALL TO ORDER
A. Mayor John Terrell welcomed all members of the SBC
B. All present made brief self introductions
2. BRIEFING ON SOUTHLAKE 2030 PLAN
A. Ken Baker, Director of Planning and Development Services, presented an
overview of the 2030 Plan, Wayfinding signs, Youth Plan, and EDT Plan.
3. BRIEFING ON SOUTHLAKE BOULEVARD CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS
A. Bob Price, Director of Public Works, presented an overview of the Southlake
Blvd. Improvements project.
4. BRIEFING ON WAYFINDING SIGNS PROGRAM
A. Presented in Item 2 above.
5. BRIEFING ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & TOURISM STRATEGIC PLAN
A. Director of Economic Development Greg Last presented a briefing on current
status of this plan.

6. PRESENTATION OF SOUTHLAKE DESTINATION VIDEO
A. Marketing & Tourism Coordinator Jill Lind presented the Destination Video and
an overview of the project
7. OPEN DISCUSSION
A. Chairman Bliss led an open discussion regarding future topics of interest to
SBC members. Following are the general topics of interest for future
meetings.
1. Business retention and expansion strategies
2. Southlake's labor pool
3. Youth hiring programs
4. Potential for a Business Survey
8. ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS
A. A motion was made by Brian Zvonecek and seconded by Terrance Henderson
to approve the minutes of the February 17, 2010 meeting. Approved
unanimously.
9. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting is
scheduled for June 16, 2010.
