Business hours / flex schedule
Highlights of the policy:
Supplements current policy – no changes required to current practices or policies
Does not affect fire or police
Extend business hours for customer support operations (i.e., Town Hall, Court, UB, Parks)
Voluntary, subject to approval of supervisor and department director
Business operations and cost take precedence

Alternate work scheduling:
May opt for (4) 10-hour days; participation is voluntary
Subject to business operations and cost considerations
Department coverage required to 6p
Flex schedule may be cancelled or modified at any time
e.g., training, season changes, etc.
Telecommuting for exempt employees may be allowed
