PROJECT: Site Plan for Taco Bueno # 3126
REQUEST:
Taco Bueno is requesting approval of a Site Plan to revise the exterior façade of their
existing restaurant located at 2305 E. Southlake Blvd—near the southeast corner of
Southlake Boulevard and Kimball Avenue. The changes include the addition of a tiled
roof tower element on the northwest corner of the building, changing the knee walls
adjacent to the windows from brick to stone and lowering height of the walls from
approximately 30 inches to 16 inches. Some additional landscape area is also being
provided along the north and west portion of the building.
ACTION NEEDED: (1) Conduct public hearing

by the Planning & Zoning Commission on November 19, 1998 and filed in
Tarrant County Property Records on July 15, 1999.
A Site Plan for Taco Bueno (ZA98-141) was approved by City Council on
January 19, 1999.
P&Z ACTION:
February 4, 2010; Approved (5-0) subject to Staff's Report dated January 29,
2010 and noting that the signs shown in the Site Plan are not part of this
approval.
STAFF COMMENTS:
Because of the limited scope of this request, no staff review was generated.
Building plans will be reviewed for conformance to all applicable development
regulations, including but not limited to masonry standards, mechanical
equipment screening, and landscaping requirements.
There is currently no sidewalk installed along this property’s FM 1709 frontage.
As this site plan proposes no change or increase in the use of the property,
sidewalk installation is not roughly proportional to their request.
