Item 7A - ECZ Dev Std 7 1Development Standards Table Standard EC Edge Commercial Core 7.1 Architectural Controls — Commercial Corporate District Plaza District Parking ■ On Street On street angled or parallel parking is required along internal public streets in the retail district in order to provide additional buffers between moving traffic and pedestrian areas. ■ Structured If parking structure is not enclosed by architecture, the structure shall compliment the (Parking Garage) surrounding architecture and shall comply with the 50% open space requirement for parking structures. ■ Structured If exposed to public view, must have an eight (8) foot landscape buffer along White Chapel Parking Blvd side or SH114 side. On other sides a three (3) foot landscape buffer is acceptable. The Landscape buffer shall be used to screen the parking structure from public view. When the top floor of the parking garage is not covered, a min four (4) feet parapet is required. ■ Surface Parking Surface parking shall be buffered from the street frontage by landscape. If painted, all parking stalls shall be marked with a line not less than four (4) inches wide. The clear zone shall remain clear to a height of 8 feet above finished grade of the sidewalk. ■ Parkways Parkways shall be six (6) feet wide with a one (1) foot accented paving band located at the back curb.
