Zoning Ord. No. 480 Section 45.11.b.b requires that all exterior facades and any exposed structural support columns of a carport be constructed with the same or similar materials as
the principal building. The applicant is proposing that two of the structural support columns not match the columns of the principal structure because the footprint of the matching columns
would reduce the size of the parking spaces below the nine feet (9’) by twenty feet (20’) that is required.
2.Zoning Ordinance No. 480 Section 33.19 requires that a five (5) foot wide concrete sidewalk be provided along all public streets for all development requiring a City Council approved
site plan. The applicant is requesting a waiver of this requirement.
