the City of Southlake are requesting approval of a specific use permit for a mass
gathering for the Festival of Trees, the Tree Lighting Ceremony, and Home for
the Holidays events in Southlake Town Square.

This event will begin November 20, 2009 and last through December 31, 2009
and encompass all of Southlake Town Square retail properties.

This exhibit shows the approximate location of the Park Place Mercedes auto
display. Two vehicles will be on display from November 19 through December
31, 2009. The vehicles are planned to be adorned with big red bows and
sponsorship signs.

This exhibit is specific to the tree lighting ceremony scheduled for Saturday,
November 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event includes the tree lighting
ceremony which starts at 6:30, photos with Santa, free carriage rides, holiday
crafts, letters to Santa, holiday refreshments and live entertainment.

This exhibit shows the locations for the Santa’s Village display and the carriage
rides pick up point; the location and toy drop off point for Santa’s helpers and
the phase one valet parking are also represented. These events commence on
November 22, 2009, beginning with Santa’s Village opening at 11:30 a.m. The
applicant has more details regarding these items in their presentation.

One banner is proposed advertising the Festival of Trees at the Hilton Hotel. The
banner measures 12’ x 5’ and will be displayed for three days during the duration
of the festival of trees exhibit which is November 21 through November 23,
2009.

Here is an aerial view of the two proposed locations for the podiums servicing
valet parking . The applicant has prepared more detailed slides regarding all of
the events I have discussed to include this valet parking aspect with routes and
parking locations. The valet service is planned to begin on Sunday, November
22, 2009 and end on Friday, January 1, 2010. The proposed hours of operation
are Monday –Friday from noon to close; Saturday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to
close. There will be nocharge for this service.
