Item 9B Department of Planning & Development Services S T A F F R E P O R T August 26, 2009 CASE NO:SV09-016 PROJECT:Sign Variance for Alamo Title Company REQUEST: Willow Creek Signs, Inc., on behalf of Alamo Title Company, is requesting a sign variance from the Sign Ordinance No. 704-D regulations for attached signs. The subject property is located at 700 East Southlake Boulevard, Suite 150. The applicant has recently moved from Suite 170 to Suite 150 and has removed their existing sign and is requesting to place a new sign above the entrance to their re-located offices. Under Sign Ordinance No. 704-D, only one sign is allowed per lease space per street frontage, up to two signs total. Currently, there is an existing sign for Flynn, Campbell & Frances Attorneys on the same façade as the sign proposed.
