WORK SESSION:
1. CALL TO ORDER: 6:00 P.M. or immediately following the Planning and Zoning Commission
meeting.
2. Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code,
Sections 551.071. Refer to posted list attached hereto and incorporate herein. Executive Session
may be held, under these exceptions, at the end of the Regular Session or at any time during
the meeting that a need arises for the Planning and Zoning Commission to seek advice from
the City Attorney as to the posted subject matter of this Planning and Zoning Commission
meeting. Section 551.071: Consultation with attorney.
B. Reconvene: Action necessary on items discussed in Executive Session.
1. Recap and discussion of City Council actions.
2. Discussion of all items on tonight’s meeting agenda.
3. Adjournment.

5. CONSIDER: APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE JUNE 4, 2026, SIGN BOARD
MEETING.
A motion was made to approve Item 5 on the agenda.

6. Consider: MSP26-0001, Master Sign Plan for Shady Oaks Office Condos, located at 515
and 521 W. Southlake Boulevard.
Deputy Director Jennifer Crosby presented a formal presentation of Item 6. Questions were
asked.
The applicant, Brandon Granberry with First Graphic Services, was present. Questions were
asked.
A motion was made to approve Item 6, MSP26-0001 subject to the Staff Report dated August
14th, 2026, as presented. Noting the exception that if the hanging signs that are presently
there are changed and anything other than just their base content within the frame that the
applicant would be required to get a new sign permit or modify the master sign plan.

7. Consider: MSP26-0003, Amendment to the Residences at Southlake Master Sign Plan,
located at 1530 Meeting Street.

The applicant, Mike Garman, 705 Cimarron Trail was present. Questions were asked.
