Item 4L Department of Planning & Development Services S T A F F R E P O R T June 10, 2009 CASE NO:SV09-011 PROJECT:Variance to the Shops of Southlake Conditional Sign Permit for GameStop REQUEST: Cencor Realty Services, on behalf of GameStop, is requesting a variance to the Shops of Southlake Conditional Sign Permit regulations for letter height. GameStop is located at 1251 East Southlake Boulevard, Suite 351. Specifically, the applicant is requesting a maximum letter height of 22 inches. Under the Shops of Southlake Conditional Sign Permit, the maximum allowed letter height for tenants less than 301 feet from the ROW is 18 inches. The applicant is proposing three signs – one on the east elevation, one on the south elevation, and one on the west elevation. All three signs will be the same. The Shops of Southlake Conditional Sign Permit allows one attached sign on each building façade visible from a street or internal drive.
