SPIN Meeting Date 04/28/2026 SPIN Item#or Item SPIN2026-03 Description First Name Sarah Last Name Biegel Address 1211 Bay Meadows Dr City Southlake State TX Question or Comment I am opposed to the zoning change. This is a large residential lot(6-7 acres)that the majority of it floods when it rains. The neighbors on both sides of this lot have also mentioned that the 1 acre that is"buildable"floods easily as well. We live in Triple C and back to Dove Creek. I am concerned with the over-development of this lot will cause more flooding down the creek. 4-tiny homes, with enough concrete between the homes for 8 cars(2 cars per house)to back in and out of and have a main drive is the only way I can see this working on this land. That does not leave a lot of green space. This is the 2nd zoning change they requested to the City. The 1st one was when they wanted an office space and event center. To now, wanting to put a 4-home compound wedged between two family homes. If SPIN and City Council is considering this then the public deserves to know the following. 1.Who is the builder(for transparency purposes)as I am concerned with the quality and size of the proposed homes. A builder who works in Southlake would know that the public will not be thrilled with putting 4-homes in one lot.And the public deserves to know. 2. 1 would challenge SPIN to ask why?Why is there a need to shove 4 homes in one lot?Why can we not just build one home to match the existing homes on that side of Carroll? Why do they keep changing their minds and suggesting zoning changes? Thank you so much for your time-I am going to try to make it today to learn more in person. Zip 76092 Email not displaying correctly?View it in your browser.
