Southlake Green Day Event
Application is for Southlake Green Day from GreenFellows, Inc., a non-profit organization
Partnering with the City
Event Date: March 28, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Rustin Park.
Southlake Green Day is an event that will teach ways to be better stewards of the earth’s resources.
Southlake Green Day Event
GreenFellows, Inc. is not seeking any direct funding from the City of Southlake for Southlake Green Day.
GreenFellows, Inc. is requesting use of Rustin Pavilion and various equipment for the Southlake Green Day event (tables, chairs, tents).
Also requesting staff from DPS, EMT, and Community Services to assist with the event.
Southlake Green Day Event
Per the Community Events Participation Policy GreenFellows, Inc. will be required to provide a 50/50 match of contributions by the City.
Estimated cost for staff only : $1,777.38 (50% = $888.69).
No charge for facility and equipment.
GreenFellows, Inc. would be responsible for incurring the cost for damage to any equipment should it occur during their use as well as all other cost related to the event.
Southlake Green Day Event
In accordance with the Council adopted Community Event Participation Policy
Staff recommends approval of the Participation Agreement with GreenFellows, Inc. for the Southlake Green Day event at a rate of 50% of actual costs incurred, (estimated at $888.69) not
to exceed $10,000
