Zoning Change and Site Plan approved
11/18/08 subject to the following:
Provide 10’ tall board-on-board capped,
stained wood fence along north property line
Relocate batting cages from proposed 4-plex
and identify best location
The following options are presented for City
Council review
Changes require a project budget amendment
FENCE OPTION 1 (1400 lf)
Budget = $40,000 (8’ wood fence side-by-side pickets)
10’ one-sided, board-on-board capped, stained wood fence = $100,000
Required Budget Amendment = $60,000*
* Ordinance requires finished side on residential side
* 10’ fence requires 3” diameter metal poles spaced at 6’ intervals
FENCE OPTION 2 (1400 lf)
Budget = $40,000 (8’ wood fence side-by-side pickets)
10’ two-sided, board-on-board capped, stained wood fence = $150,000
Required Budget Amendment = $110,000*
FENCE OPTION 3 (1400 lf)
Budget = $40,000 (8’ wood fence side-by-side pickets)
10’ Precast concrete fence = $190,000
Required Budget Amendment = $150,000

BATTING CAGES
Option 1 = $120,000 Budget Amendment
Pathway with retaining wall from south entrance of new 4-plex to new batting cage location
Provide two batting cages that match existing cages
Re-grade north warm-up areas at existing 4-plex
Option 2 = $470,000 Budget Amendment
Same as Option 1 but partially enclose and light all six cages
Provide concrete floor, roof, and one north wall to mitigate noise
SBA may contribute funds and receive SPDC matching funds to cover a portion of costs
