REGULAR SESSION: 6:30 P.M.
1. Call to Order.
2. Executive Session: If a need arises to seek the advice from the City Attorney as to the posted
subject matter of this Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting, the issues or matters will be discussed
in executive session.
a. Pursuant to Section 551.071, Texas Government Code, the Board may meet in executive
session to consult with the City Attorney regarding matters authorized by Section 551.071,
including matters posted on this agenda.
b. Reconvene: Action necessary on items discussed in executive session.
3. Consider: Approval of the minutes for the April 16, 2026, Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting.
4. Consider: Approval of the minutes for the April 30, 2026, Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting.
5. Administrative Comments.
6. Table: ZBA26-0004, Special Exception Use per Zoning Ordinance No. 480, as amended,
Section 44.12 (1) for a domestic employee or family quarters, Section 44.12 (6) for a
reduction in the required setback from property lines for a residential accessory building,
and Variance to Zoning Ordinance No. 480, as amended, Section 11.5.j.iii requiring that an
accessory building shall not exceed 20 feet in height, on property described as Lot 5, Block
+DUERU 2DNV6XEGLYLVLRQ DQGORFDWHGDW +DUERU5HWUHDW &XUUHQW =RQLQJ ³6)-1A" Single
Family Residential District. The applicant has requested to table this item to the May 28, 2026
Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting. The public hearing will be held at that time.
7. Consider: ZBA26-0005, Variance to Zoning Ordinance No. 480, as amended, Section 11.5.c
requiring minimum side yard setbacks of 20 feet on property described as Lot 17, Block 1,
Dove Acres, and located at 1633 Mockingbird Lane. &XUUHQW =RQLQJ ³6)-$´ 6LQJOH)DPLO\
Residential District. PUBLIC HEARING
8. Meeting Adjournment.
A quorum of the City Council or any board, commission, or committee may or may not be present at
this meeting.
