CALL TO ORDER: 6:00 P.M. 2. Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071. Refer to posted list attached hereto and incorporate herein. Executive Session may be held, under these exceptions, at the end of the Regular Session or at any time during the meeting that a need arises for the Planning and Zoning Commission to seek advice from the City Attorney as to the posted subject matter of this Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Section 551.071: Consultation with attorney. No executive Session was held. 3. Recap of the City Council’s action and discussion on Planning & Zoning recommended cases. 4. Adjournment. CONSIDER: APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FOR THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON MARCH 5, 2026. A motion was made to approve item 5 on the consent agenda. Table: CP26-0004, Amendment to the City of Southlake Consolidated Future Land Use Plan, an element of the Southlake Comprehensive Plan, for 360 Development, on property described as Lot 5A, Drake Estates Addition and located at 360 Randol Mill Avenue, Southlake, Texas. Current Underlying Land Use Designation: “Low Density Residential”. Requested Underlying Land Use Designation: “Office Commercial”. SPIN Neighborhood #11. The applicant has requested to table this item to the May 21, 2026 Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. 7. A motion was made to approve Item 9, ZA26-0014 on the agenda subject to the Staff Report dated April 17th, 2026, and the Development Plan Review Summary No. 2 dated March 12th, 2026, noting the applicant’s agreement to bring renderings looking from east to west and also from west to east along Davis Boulevard. Chairman Kubiak closed the public hearing. A motion was made to approve item 11, ZA26-0022 on the agenda subject to the Staff Report dated April 23rd, 2026, noting approval of the variance and subject to the Development Plan Review Summary No.2 dated April 17th, 2026. Noting the applicant’s willingness and agreement to meet with the homeowners to the west of the development in particular the residents on Langford prior to City Council and advise them of their more detailed drainage plans and get more information on the Timarron drainage again all prior to City Council.
