CALL TO ORDER. Work Session was called to order by Mayor Shawn McCaskill at 5:31pm. 2. INVOCATION: CLAYTON REED Mr. Clayton Reed provided the invocation. Mayor McCaskill led the pledges of allegiance to the United States and Texas Flags. 3. HONORS & RECOGNITION: CELIAC STRONG DAY PROCLAMATION & CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION FOR KYLIE CONNOR Kylie Connor, a senior at Carroll Senior High School, provided an overview about Celiac disease and was provided with a proclamation and certificate of recognition . 4. HONORS & RECOGNITION: NATIONAL THERAPY ANIMAL DAY PROCLAMATION Dr. April Willis with Canine Companions provided an overview about therapy animals and was provided with a proclamation recognizing National Therapy Animal Day . 5. DISCUSS ALL ITEMS ON TONIGHT'S AGENDA. NO ACTION WILL BE TAKEN AND EACH ITEM WILL BE CONSIDERED DURING THE REGULAR SESSION. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor McCaskill announced the City Council would go into Executive Session pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Section 551.071 consultation with city attorney. The City Council adjourned for Executive Session at 6:48pm. There was no business to discuss during the Executive Session, therefore, no beginning time or adjournment time is noted. 2B. RECONVENE Mayor McCaskill reconvened the meeting at 7:38pm. 3. REPORTS: 3A.
