The Advisory Commission on Persons with Disabilities will hold its next meeting on
Monday, April 27, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. in the Legends Hall Board Room at The Marq
Southlake (285 Shady Oaks Drive). A light dinner will be available beginning at 6:00 p.m.

The purpose of this item is to provide the commission with an overview of
how fundraising, grants, sponsorships and scholarship opportunities work
in the context of the City of Southlake. City of Southlake Chief Financial
Officer Sharen Jackson will provide an overview and will be available to
answer questions from the commission regarding future alternative funding
pursuits.

5A. UPCOMING PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
Director of Community Services David Miller provided an update on upcoming
programs and events over the next couple of months and invited the board to
attend and support Eggstravaganza and Touch-a-Truck.

4B. CITY OF SOUTHLAKE WEBSITE PROJECT
Director of Communications Pilar Schank provided the Advisory Commission on
Persons with Disabilities with an update on recent enhancements made across
all City websites, including improvements to visibility, accessibility, and audio
access. She also shared information on upcoming changes to ADA compliance
standards. The Commission offered feedback, and Ms. Schank answered
questions.

4C. FOLLOW-UP: DISABILITY COMMUNITY DATA INSIGHTS PROGRAM
FRAMEWORK
Assistant to the City Manager Stacey Black provided an update on the revised draft
of the Disability Community Data Insights Program Framework. She reviewed the
changes suggested during the February meeting and how they were incorporated
into the draft. The Advisory Commission provided feedback and additional
recommendations.
Direction to Staff: The Advisory Commission on Persons with Disabilities directed
staff to make edits to include their suggestions.
4C. CITIZEN SATISFACTION SURVEY OVERVIEW
Director of Community Services David Miller and Assistant to the City Manager
Bora Sulollari presented an overview of the Citizen Satisfaction Survey results.
Direction to Staff: The Advisory Commission on Persons with Disabilities provided
staff feedback based on the presentation.
6.ADJOURNMENT
Advisory Commission on Persons with Disabilities Chair McCaskill adjourned the
meeting at 7:59 P.M.
