Senior Advisory Commission Meeting Minutes for March 10, 2026 SENIOR ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES: MARCH 10, 2026 LOCATION: THE MARQ SOUTHLAKE Legends Hall – Board Room 285 Shady Oaks Drive Southlake, Texas 76092 Members Present: Chair MaryLee Alford, Vice-Chair Brent McIlvain and SAC members William Meddings, Julie Walter, and Greta Schumacher Commission Members Absent: SAC Members John Slocum and Bernadette MacDermott Staff Members Present: Deputy Director of Community Services Ryan McGrail, Hospitality and Sales Manager Crystal Maddalena, Senior Services Coordinator Soheila Phelps, and Deputy Director of Library Services Cynthia Pfledderer 1.CALL TO ORDER Chair Alford called the meeting of the Senior Advisory Commission to order at 1:00 P.M. 2.CONSENT Consent Agenda items are considered routine by the Commission and are enacted with one motion. A.Approve the minutes from the February 10, 2026, Senior Advisory Commission Meeting Chair Alford presented Item 2A, including approval of the February 10, 2026, meeting minutes. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the minutes of February 10, 2026. Item 2A Senior Advisory Commission Meeting Minutes for March 10, 2026 3. PUBLIC FORUM Chair Alford opened the Public Forum at 1:01 P.M. There being no one to speak, the Public Forum was closed at 1:01 P.M. 4. DISCUSSION A. Library Update – Cynthia Pfledderer, Deputy Director of Library Services The Deputy Director of Library Services, Cynthia Pfledderer, provided an update to the Senior Advisory Commission on the Library and was available to answer questions. B. Community Services Update – Ryan McGrail, Deputy Director of Community Services Deputy Director of Community Services, Ryan McGrail, discussed methods to keep the Senior Advisory Commission informed of upcoming events and community gatherings. A handout was passed out to the Senior Advisory Commission that included upcoming events and community gatherings, and Ryan McGrail was available to answer questions. 5.
