A. Intern Day Discussion- The purpose of this item is for the eligible
Southlake Youth Action Commission members to discuss Intern Day.
B. Tree Planting at Bob Jones Park- The purpose of this item is for the
Southlake Youth Action Commission to plant a tree at Bob Jones Park for
the Southlake 2,026 Trees in 2026.

3.Discussion
A.Police Department Presentation-
Police Captain and SRO Blas Hernandez presented to the Southlake
Youth Action Commission. He discussed leadership, his role within the
Police Department, and provided guidance to students on how to be
successful leaders.

B.Adopt-a-Street Date Selection-
Community Relations Manager Vicky Schiber presented Item 3B to the
Southlake Youth Action Commission. Commission members discussed
potential dates and will determine a final date at the next SYAC
meeting.

C.In-house YAC Conference Discussion
Community Relations Manager Vicky Schiber presented Item 3C, and
SYAC members discussed different ideas for an In-house YAC
Conference.
