Item 6B - Narrative and Exhibits
I am attaching a copy of what I sent over previously which I believe answers your questions. Let me know if you need me to change this or if I'm missing anything. In addition I am adding an updated site map which is different than the one submitted on the 29th. After meeting with our team we realized that we needed a little more space of we are to have the addition of alcohol tents. " The Southlake Hispanic/LatinoOrganization would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the City of Southlake for its unwavering support in making the 2025 Hispanic Heritage Celebration an outstanding success. This year's event was a beautiful community gathering that brought Southlake residents together in cultural celebration. We are truly thankful for the City's partnership, guidance, and commitment to ensuring the event was meaningful, safe, and welcoming to all. We are excited to continue this wonderful tradition next year and look forward to collaborating once again with the City of Southlake. As part of the event's continued growth, we intend to introduce alcohol sales in the form of beer and/or wine, and we are eager to work closely with the City to ensure that this enhancement aligns with all applicable guidelines and community standards. In addition, the updated and prospective site map for the 2026 celebration has been included with this email for your review. While we have not yet finalized the event agenda, we will gladly share updates with the City as planning progresses. Our hope and goal are, first and foremost, to support the City of Southlake, and secondly, to extend a warm Southlake embrace to surrounding communities by contributing to local, community -based needs such as food drives, educational programs, community support, and education initiatives. On behalf of the Southlake Hispanic/Latino Organization, thank you again for your trust and support. We look forward to celebrating together for many years to come."
