A.Approve the minutes from the October 14, 2025, Senior Advisory Commission Meeting Chair Alford presented Item 2A, including approval of the October 14, 2025, meeting minutes. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the minutes of October 14, 2025. Item 2B Senior Advisory Commission Meeting Minutes for January 13, 2026 4. CONSIDER A. Election of Vice-Chair and Secretary Chair Alford presented the Election of Vice-Chair and Secretary. The Commission nominated Brent McIlvain as Vice-Chair and Greta Schumacher as Secretary. AP PROVED A motion was made to approve the nomination of Vice-Chair and Secretary Motion: Bill Meddings Second: Schumacher Ayes: Alford, Schumacher, McIlvain, Meddings, Walter, MacDermott Nays: None Abstention: None Vote: 6-0 Motion passed. 5. DISCUSSION (No vote on Discussion Items) A. Senior Activity Center FY25 Update ~ Soheila Phelps, Senior Services Coordinator Soheila Phelps, Senior Services Coordinator, presented to the Senior Advisory Commission and gave them an update on FY25, and was available to answer questions. B. Metroport Meals on Wheels FY25 Update ~ Mary King, Executive Director Mary King, Executive Director of Metroport Meals on Wheels, gave the Senior Advisory Commission an update on FY25 and was available to answer questions. C. Call a Ride Southlake FY25 Update ~ Ernie Meyer, Chairman of the Board of Directors Ernie Meyer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, gave the Senior Advisory Commission an update on FY25 and was available to answer questions. D. Guest Speaker ~ Curtis Young, Sage Group Inc. Curtis Young of Sage Group Inc. gave a presentation to the Senior Advisory Commission on potential new developments within Southlake. He was available to answer questions. E. 2026 Yearly Review ~ Proposed Speakers Hospitality and Sales Manager, Crystal Maddalena, gave an overview of the 2026 proposed speakers and was available to answer questions.
