items. During this proceeding, the Arts Council will not discuss or act on any item
presented. Southlake Arts Council respectfully asks anyone speaking during the
Public Forum to limit remarks to three minutes or less.
4.Agenda Item No. 4. Discussion
A.Strokes of Art in the Square- The purpose of this item is for the Southlake
Arts Council to discuss the Strokes of Art in the Square event. No packet
document.
B.Dowdle Studios City Questionnaire- The purpose of this item is for staff to
share an overview of the Questionnaire provided by Dowdle Studios. A
copy of the City Questionnaire is included in your packet.

Square Exhibit. No packet document.

2A. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM THE OCTOBER 28, 2025, SOUTHLAKE
ARTS COUNCIL MEETING
Chair Tamara McMillan presented item 2A, approval of the minutes from
the October 28, 2025, Southlake Arts Council meeting.

A motion was made to approve the minutes from the October 28, 2025,
Southlake Arts Council meeting as presented.

4.CONSIDER
4A. RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF A CONTRACT WITH ARTISTS ERIC DOWDLE,
DBA DOWDLE STUDIOS, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $125,000 FOR
ART TO BE INSTALLED IN THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE FOR ITS 70TH
ANNIVERSARY.
Community Relations Manager Vicky Schiber presented Item 4A and was
available to answer questions.
APPROVED
A motion was made to recommend approval of a contract with artists Eric
Dowdle, dba Dowdle Studios, in an amount not to exceed $125,000 for art
to be installed in the City of Southlake for its 70th Anniversary.

4B. RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF AN ARTIST CONTRACT WITH BRANDON

FOR ART TO BE INSTALLED AT THE MUNICIPAL SERVICE CENTER.

Brandon Taylor, dba 23 Design Co., in an amount not to exceed $200,000
for art to be installed at the Municipal Service Center.
