BOARD MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 20, 2026
The minutes of the January 20, 2026, Joint SPDC and Parks and Recreation Board
meeting were approved with no changes or corrections.
Consent Agenda items are considered to be routine and are enacted with one motion by
the Board.

SPDC and Park Board meeting held on January 20, 2026.

Chair Battles opened the Public Forum at 6.01 p.m. There being no one to speak, Chair
Battles closed the Public Forum at 6.01 p.m.

4A. CELEBRATING SOUTHLAKE'S 70TH ANNIVERSARY
Director of Community Services, David Miller, provided an update on the events
planned to celebrate Southlake's 70th Anniversary. He also shared details about the
planting of 2,026 trees in 2026.

5B. RECREATION AND ATHLETICS TASKFORCE UPDATE
Director of Community Services David Miller provided the board with an update on team
rentals and tournament costs. The board discussed tournaments and rental fees.

Director of Community Services, David Miller, provided a Parks and Recreation update
and was available to answer questions.
