1978-10-26 CITY OF SOUTHLAKE 667 North Carroll Avenue Southlake,Texas ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS MEETING October 26,1978 CASE # 7 7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Colon Sweet. Present for the meeting were: Colon Sweet, chairman Mary Dorsett R.G. Lyford Walter Garrett L.A. Casey Agenda Item I. Case # 7. David B. Arnold is filing appeal of denial for permission to move a termporary building onto his property in the Agricultural Zoning District. Mr. Arnold was present to explain the request to the zoning board members. He explained that his mother is unable to take care of herself and refuses to leave a temporary building made for her by her late husband. Mr. Arnold wanted to move the building onto his property at Box 49-B, Dove Road, so he would be able to look after her. He wants to place the building directly behind his home. After discussion they board voted to grant Mr. Arnold permission to move the building for a period of 5 years. At that time he will again have to have a hearing if he needs the variance for a longer period of time.
