BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS
OCTOBER 5, 1989 6:30 P.M.
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION: Chairman, Jim Vorhis;
Vice-Chairman, Joe L. Wright. Lanny Tate, Aloha Payne, Buddy Luce.
ABSENT: Jim Devine, Larry Samartin.
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS: Chairman, Art Sorenson; Vice-Chairman, John
Scoggan. Robert Downard, Ernest Johnson. Alternate: Joe Bentley.
ABSENT: Alternate, Dennis Minder. I
CITY STAFF PRESENT: Director of Public Works, Mike Barnes; Zoning
Administrator, Karen Gandy; Building Clerk, Jean Bryson; and, City
Secretary, Sandra L. LeGrand. City Attorney, Wayne Olson.
The informal work session was held beginning at 6:30 p.m. for the
purpose of reviewing the new Zoning Ordinance No. 480, in regards
to responsibilities of Planning and Zoning Commission members and
the Board of Adjustments members.
The discussion was led by City Attorney, Wayne Olson. At 7:30
p.m., the Planning and Zoning Commission adjourned into their
regular meeting and the Board of Adjustments continued their
irr discussion with Jean Bryson continuing the tape recording of the
