STAFF PRESENT: Karen Gandy, Zoning Administrator; Linda Carpenter, Public Works Secretary. Agenda Item # 2 Approval of the Minutes. With no opposition a motion was made to approve the Minutes of February 28, 1993 Regular Meeting. Motion: Minder Second: Downard Ayes: Downard, Minder, Reynolds, Bentley, Joyce Nays: None Vote: 5-0 to approve Agenda Item # 3 Administrative Comments. irk Karen Gandy, Zoning Administrator, reported Eric Wong has requested to come back to the Board. The Board discussed issues to be directed to Allen Taylor, City Attorney. Ms. Gandy will assist with the items for discussion with Mr. Taylor. .s Agenda Item # 4 ZBA CASE #169 Special Exception Use Case # 169 a Special Exception Use for Family Quarters per Section 44.12 (1) on property legally described as Lot 3, Block 2, Harbor Oaks Subdivision, being approximately 2.3 acres Zoned "SF-lA". The location is 2900 Burney Lane. qR The owner is Ted and Trudy Heithecker and the applicant is Kenneth W. Land. A presentation was made by Karen Gandy, Zoning Administrator. Ms. Gandy stated that eight (8) letters were sent to property owners do within 200 feet and one (1) written response in favor of the request had been received. Public Hearing Ken Land, applicant, Irving, stated he needs the request for family rrr quarters for his 70 year old mother and aunt. He further said he would comply with the Ordinances and setback requirements. Mr. Land met with the neighbors and presented to the board six (6) letters from homeowners all in favor of the request. Board of Adjustment Meeting Page 2 February 11, 1993 Agenda Item # 4 continued. OR Ted Heithecker, owner, 2900 Burney Lane, answered question from the Board concerning the existing shop. There was no other person wishing to speak either in favor or in opposition to the request. Public Hearing Closed. After discussion a motion was made to grant Case #169 Special Exception Use for Family Quarters as requested. Motion: Bentley Second: Minder Ayes: Downard, Minder, Reynolds, Bentley, Joyce Nays: None Vote: 5-0 to grant Agenda Item # 5 Meeting Adjourned. With no objections the Chair deemed the meeting adjourned.
