Pursuant to the call of the mayor, and to notice 7,i ven to all
members of the Town Council, stating time, place, and".-Purpose
of the meeting, a specially called meeting of the Town Council,
Southlake, Texas was held on Friday evening, July 17, 1959 a#
7:30 p.m. at the home of the Mayor. The following members were
present constituting a quorum:

L. A. Casey
The Mayor called the meeting to orderp and asked the Councilmen
to vote on the dismissal of the redddng of the minutes. L. A.
Casey made the motion, seconded by Gus Halbert and approved
40 unanimously by the Council.
The Mayor read Ordinance No. 122 which wad discussed by the
Council. Gus Halbert made a motion to table the discussion of
the ordinance. L. A. Casey seconded the motion which was approved
unanimously by the Council.
+r The Council at the motion of W. C. Cummings and seconded by L. A.
Casey gave the Mayor a unanimous vote of confidence on his
handling of the law enforcement problems in Southlake.

No further business coming before the Council, the meeting was
adjourned.
