Council Meeting, March 18, 1963 7:30 PAR
Mayor Stevenson opened the meeting and answering roll
call were J. J. Carlile, Paul Schell, Earl Williams, and
W. H. Crumbaker.
Minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and
approved.
After a discussion on the sign for the city hall,
J. J. Carlile made the motion, seconded by W. H. Crumbaker,

that Earl Williams and Paul Schell proceed with the erection
of a sign, as per the plans and outlines they had suggested.

The secretary was instructed to answer Mr. W. A. Esslinger's
request for specific instances of telephone complaints--by sending
Mr. Paul Schell's report of his personal problem with interrupted
service.
A letter of resignation from John R. Tate, Councilman Place
4, was read and accepted. Council adopted a esilution for a
new election to be held on May 14, 1963 for the purpose of elect-
ing a councilman to fill the unexpired term of Mr. Tate~~JJ.~~

This resolution Number 2A-was approved by council on motion

Discussed at length, but not acted upon officially, was
the need expressed by Mr. Keller Austin to several of the members,
separately, that the allowance for his car expense be increased.
