M3DiMS OF THE MOM ME UNG OF THE
TOWN COUNCIL, TORN OF Sim E, TEZAS, JULY, 1960
Pursuant to the can of the Mayor and to notice given to all nembers
of the Town Council stating time, place, and purpose of the meeting
the regular meeting of the Town Council of Southlake, Texas, was held
July 16 at the home of Mayor Stevenson. The following members were
present constituting a quorum:
Mayor John M. Stevenson
Councilmen John Cope
C. M. Gordon
Earl Williams
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 3t00 p.m. The minutes
of the last meeting were read and approved with a correction.
Mr. Williams reported that a new plan for the ball park was being dis-
cussed by the Carroll School Hoard and that the work would begin as soon
as the land could be secured.
The Council discussed the Oaks Addition plat submitted by Mr. L. A.
Casey. Mr. Gordon moved that the Council, subject to the approval of
Mr. Frank Denton, approve the proposed plat for the Oaks Addition (sur-
veyed June 3, 1960) submitted by Mr. L. A. Casey
His motion was seconded and adopted un-
animously,
Sines there was no further business, the Council adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
