The report on the hearing in nustin was riven by the r_ngin
Bering firm of P. T, Nelson and iIssoc. and by the mayor who
had attended the hec.r.ino.
44 The hearing was regarded by both the Mayor and Nelsons
as being favorable to the city.
Belson ~ Assoc. also gave the council report on the ~;as
system. This included technical information and also the
answering of questions.
vhe next cart of the discussion was to be left out of the
minutes by request of the council.
In general the hearing at ^,ustin had gone well. Hour members
of Southlake had been at the hearing as witnesses for Lone
Star, but it is believed that they had not helped Lone Star's
case at all. The mayor felt, if anything that they had helped
the city's case for rcunicipal Gas.
Councilman Clow felt that the Citizens of South ake should be
better informed on the proposed 'Tas ,iystem. T°r. '°!illiams
oointed out that new effort must be made to het r;eo:~le siCned
up for ^as.
J rr. villiams mjde a motion that the City subscribe to the
map-;azine "'~Ia.ter .,ewape '-forks" The motion was seconded by

Ad The mayor appointed mr. williams committee chairman to zet
the leaders of the coil aunity to -ettier for ttie purpose of
14 informing them, en the municipal c~as system.
40 It was also decided that to show how well the water system was
doir,;~ might stimul_te interest in -3s much as these municipal
utilities can save the tax ,ayer very much.

City water line by contract of his own pluamer. The mayor
said that since it is a munciToal system it n-d to be done by
the City. The council was in ar,;reement.
