Items discussed briefly were: plans for apublic meeting were about complete;
several engineers had been contacted and showed interest in the project;
need for secretarial service in connection with the program; fee set at
$1.50 per hour and to ask the Southlake City Secretary (Irene Nelson)
if she could serve in such capacity.
After general discussion and report from Bob Rockenbaugh on availability
of Carroll School, the public meeting was set for December 14, 1964 at
7:30 PM.
Some items were agreed upon which should be preserved in the recordss
Applications for water taps--or membership in the proposed non-profit
corporation--had been set at a $50.00 fee. Any applications coming in
after the charter membership date closed, should carry a fee of $250.00
for NEW members and $125.00 for ADDITONAL taps of charter members.
There was also discussed the possibility that additional taps would not
be available after a length of time--ie, that the system would have expanded
to its capacity.
Further definite decisions along this line included the fact that EACH
AND EVERY UNIT should have its own tap--in other words, one meter CANNOT
serve several structures wherein people reside.
This evek" considwable discussion but it was agreed upon by all present
since the *Vs*wli0T be financed through REVENUE and not from taxes imposed
upon the AnjgWv. In this same connection, it was mi e c ear and agreed by
all as beimW eeesssary: that each tap should catever s1n1-- m f~ i
