City of Southlake
November 3, 1964
The meeting was called to order by Mayor John Tate. Answering roll
* call were J. D. Cate, Paul Schell, MR. Crunbaker, Earl Williams,
and J. J. Carlile. Mr. John Quinn was present.
Reading of the minutes of the previous meeting was waived and
meeting centered largely around progress of the water program.
A letter was read which had been sent out by Mr. Jack Johnson
to the Highway Department. This communication had to do with
w future construction and asked that an overpass be considered
at the interksection of Carroll Road and Highway 114. Council
expressed unanimous approval of the letter after a motion to do
so was made by J. J. Carliie and seconded by Earl Williams.
A discussion as to whether or not the City needed to provide
further auxiliary protection at the high school football games
ended with the decision that the present plan was adequate.
Mr. W. J. Hudson was appointed Corporation Court Judge. Mayor
Tate asked for Council approval of this appointment. Earl
Williams made a motion to approve the appointment, Paul Schell
second, motion carriedo
Routine bills were approved for payment.
Motion to adjourn was unanimous.
