June 25, 1968
The special meeting m
of the Southlake City Council was called to order
at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor J. L. Clow. Councilman present were: Mike O'Brien, Or
J. O. Cate, Thurman Hearn, J. J. Carlile and Buddy Brown.
Minutes of past regular meeting were not read.
First order of business: The council discussed the petition for rk
annexation of C. K. Ring and C. S. Sparger property.
Mike O'Brien made the motion that the council approve the petition
and annexation making C. S. Sparger's property-Annexation Ordinance No. 153
and C. K. King's property-Annexation Ordinance No. 154. Buddy Brown seconded the motion. It carried unanimously.

Main Order of Business: Chief of Police
After such discussion by the council on this subject, Buddy Brown
made the motion that Burl Richardson be relieved of his duties as Chief of
Police bf the City of Southlake, to be effective immediately and that he
be given the opportunity to resign if he so desires and in addition that n
he be given two weeks severance pay. Seconded by J. D. Cate. Motion
carried unanimously.
The council discussed men who might be interested in serving on the n'
Planning and Zoning Board. The mayor said he would contact the following
man: Bob Rockenbaugh, Leamon Ragsdale, Johnny Tate, Bonnie Burrus, Buster
Lee, and Gail Hargadine.
Buddy Brown made a motion that the council adjourn. Mike O'Brien
seconded it and all were in favor.

In all cases when tw o (2) or more In apartments or trailer park units
are supplied water through one meter, not less than a minimum charge for
such water shall be made for each living or business unit supplied through
' each meter and sea additional water service above the minimum for each
such unit shall be based upon the quantity of water passing through the
' meter divided by the number of units and charged for as set forth in the
applicable rate schedule.
