Honorable Mayor & City Council
City of Southlake
Southlake, Texas
Reference: Modification of Well Pumping Equipment
Gentlemen:
We are pleased to offer the following proposal for removing pump, adding '
stages to bring capacity up to 300 GPM and lower pump to a depth of 900
feet.
The following parts will be required to perform this work: '
® Item 1 - Two complete 8 " DRLC pump stages to make existing
bowl 8-stages '
Item 2 - Change the existing 8 " DRHC impellers to 8 "DRLC
Item 3 - One new stainless steel impeller shaft, 1-3/16" for I
8-stage bowl
Item 4 - 200 feet of 2/0-3 conductor submersible cable
Item 5 - 200 feet of 5 -1/2 " O. D. pipe to lower pump to 900 '
ft. setting.
With the present water levels, this pump should produce 340 GPM from a '
pumping level of 745 feet. We are enclosing a curve to show the reduced
capacity as the water level recedes .
'
The cost for the above material is $2,284.00
We also recommend the 90 HP submersible motor. be returned to the factory '
to be reconditioned. This cost is unknown at this time but is estimated
at $ 500.00
The labor will be performed on an hourly basis according to our CB#2, with '
an estimated cost of $ 900.00
