Comments / Explanation I am strongly opposed to the proposed development of this
commercial building. A private club--aka bar/tavern--is not
appropriate for land that sits feet away from residential yards.
Hours of occupation can go up to 2AM on many nights. There
is no reason an establishment of this type shouldn't be within
the Town Square development next to other restaurants and
bars. A drive through bank/ATM would be a 24/7 operation that
would require bright nightime lighting and visibility and have
traffic at all hours, not ideal for families.
Southlake is a crown jewel among towns because of the
prudent decisions made with regard to development. I strongly
urge you to consider if you would want this development behind
your family home. Thank you.

Comments / Explanation It’s frankly absurd the developer is coming back and now
asking to change the zoning again, increase the height of the
building to 3 stories (or 2 1/2), add a bar, and a drive thru bank.
This is a slap in the face to the existing surrounding residential
neighbors. The zoning change to TZD and a 2 story building
should have never been approved in the first place as this
property abuts existing residential. It should have been a single
story garden office per the intent of the Future Land Use plan.
Please deny this absurd request and recommend that City
Council also deny it.

I have seen the drawings and discussed this with Travis Franks. I feel like a rooftop speakeasy would be a
