CALL TO ORDER: 6:00 P.M. 2. Executive Session: Pursuant to the Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071. Refer to posted list attached hereto and incorporate herein. Executive Session may be held, under these exceptions, at the end of the Regular Session or at any time during the meeting that a need arises for the Planning and Zoning Commission to seek advice from the City Attorney as to the posted subject matter of this Planning and Zoning Commission meeting. Section 551.071: Consultation with attorney. No Executive Session was held. 3. Recap of the City Council’s action and discussion on Planning & Zoning recommended cases. 4. Adjournment. Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes – October 9, 2025 Page 2 of 3 Director Dennis Killough made note that the next Corridor Meeting will be Monday, October 27th, 2025, at 5:30pm and the next Planning & Zoning meeting on October 23rd, 2025, will be cancelled. 4. CHAIRMAN COMMENTS No comments were made. REGULAR AGENDA: 5. CONSIDER: APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FOR THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 18, 2025 A motion was made to approve Item 5 on the agenda. Motion: Cannova Second: Springer Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 Abstain: 0 Approved: 5-0-0 6. Consider: ZA25-0064, Plat Revision for Hideaway Jones Addition, being a revision of Lot 1, William Phillips No. 1017 Addition, City of Southlake, Denton County, Texas and located at 500 E. Bob Jones Road. Current Zoning: “SF-1A” Single Family Residential District. SPIN Neighborhood #1. PUBLIC HEARING Principal Planner Wayne Powell provided a formal presentation of Item 6. No questions were asked. The applicant, Jody Boyd, 180 State Street, Southlake, Tx., was present. Chairman Kubiak opened the public hearing. Seeing no one Chairman Kubiak closed the public hearing. A motion was made to approve Item 6, ZA25-0064 subject to the Staff Report dated October 3rd, 2025, and the Plat Revision Summary No. 1 dated October 3rd, 2025.
