Item 4E - Letter of Approval City of Southlake November 4, 2025 James Cox 5710 LBJ Fwy, Unit 400 Dallas, TX 75240 Re: 2008 Wheeler Dr. Drainage Easement Encroachment Dear Mr. Cox, In response to your request, the City of Southlake Public Works Department has reviewed the encroachment agreement for the placement of a screening wall and iron fence within the drainage easement. The encroachment agreement is scheduled for the November 18, 2025 City Council meeting. Upon approval from City Council, this letter is intended to represent the City’s approval for the proposed screening wall and iron fence encroachment into the drainage easement with the following requirements: ownership and maintenance of the proposed screening wall and iron fence improvements will be the responsibility of the property owner and not the city. It shall also be noted that per the executed encroachment agreement, the city shall not be responsible for any damage to the screening wall or iron fence if the city is required to perform maintenance on the drainage pipe.
