The Commission nominated Maya Perera as Chair, Vyas Vishnukumar as Vice -Chair, and William Zhang as Secretary. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the nomination of Chair, Vice -Chair, and Secretary. Preparing to Host Elections with the City Secretary's Office - Community Relations Manager Vicky Schiber presented Item 4A and introduced City Secretary Amy Shelley. Amy spoke to the Southlake Youth Action Commission about how the City Secretary's Office prepares for elections. She explained what municipal elections are and highlighted the key differences between them and other types of elections. Direction to Staff — NA B. Adoot-a-Street Date Selectio Community Relations Manager, Vicky Schiber, presented Item 4B to the Southlake Youth Action Commission and reminded the members of their clean-up date on November 17, 2025. Direction to Staff — NA C. Home for the Holidays Discussion - Community Relations Manager, Vicky Schiber, presented Item 4C and gave an overview of what Home for the Holidays is, along with what a potential booth could be for the SYAC board members. SYAC members volunteered to work a booth at the event. Direction to Staff — NA D. YAC Summit Update - Community Relations Manager, Vicky Schiber, presented Item 4D and asked the SYAC members who would be interested in attending the YAC Conference. Maya Perera explained what YAC is and how beneficial it is for the members of SYAC to attend. Direction to Staff — NA 5. Adjournment — Board Member Maya Perera adjourned the meeting at 4.57 P.M.
