Subject: Approve an Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement for the
placement of a retaining wall across a 15-foot wide sanitary
sewer easement located at 900 Davis Boulevard.
Action
Requested: Approve an Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement for the
placement of a retaining wall across a 15-foot wide sanitary sewer
easement located at 900 Davis Boulevard.
Background
Information: The purpose of this item is to seek City Council approval of an
Encroachment and Joint Use Agreement for the placement of a
retaining wall across a 15-foot wide sanitary sewer easement located
at 900 Davis Boulevard. This agreement will allow the developer to
place a retaining wall across the existing sanitary sewer easement
along the west side of the property.
The sanitary sewer easement was dedicated for an 8-inch sanitary
sewer pipe that extends from the Siena subdivision west of this
development. The sanitary sewer pipe will be encased within a 25-
foot long steal casing, centered on the retaining wall crossing.
Public Works Wastewater has reviewed and approved the
encroachment.

Considerations: This is a no cost agreement.
