Agenda Item # 1 Call to Order: Acting-Chairman Miltenberger called the meeting to
order at 6:33:51 p.m.
Agenda Item # 2 Approval of the Minutes:
The minutes of the September 13, 2007 Regular Zoning Board of Adjustment meetings was
deemed approved at 6:35:15 p.m. by Acting-Chairman Miltenberger.

Agenda Item # 3 Administrative Comments:
Mr. Bryner, Planner II, announced the next scheduled meeting will be November 15, 2007.
Agenda Item #4 ZBA Case #529, Special Exception Use Permits for an accessory
building of a size greater than permitted.
Case ZBA #529, Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (3)
permitting the construction of accessory buildings or structures of a size or aggregate size
greater than that permitted under the accessory building requirements of the zoning district
in which the property lies. The applicant is requesting to construct detached garage totaling
approximately six hundred sixty-seven (667) square feet.
The property is located at 1301 Fanning Street, being legally described as Lot 19, Block 2,
Westwyck Hills, and being approximately 0.74 acres.
Mr. Bryner reported that fifty-five (55) notices were sent within 200 feet and within the
subdivision with one (1) response William J. and Susan Purves, 1218 Morgan Rd,
Southlake, Texas in favor.
The applicant Tom Mathews, 726 Commerce Street, Southlake, Texas once sworn in,
presented items to the Board and answered questions.
Acting-Chairman Lewis Miltenberger opened and closed the public hearing at 6:43:19 p.m.
Michael Waldman entered a motion to approve ZBA Case #529 as presented.

Agenda Item #5 ZBA Case #530, Special Exception Use Permits for a family quarter.
Case ZBA #530, Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1)
for servant/family quarters. The applicant is requesting to construct and addition to the
house to include a family quarter of approximately one thousand (1,000) square feet.
The property is located at 500 Bentwood Lane, being legally described as Lot 8, Lakewood
Acres Phase 2, and being approximately 4.01 acres.
Mr. Bryner reported that twenty-four (24) notices were sent within 200 feet and within the
subdivision with one (1) response Grady Smallwood, 710 Malton Lane, Southlake, Texas
undecided.
The applicant Paul Simon, 500 Bentwood Lane, Southlake, Texas once sworn in, presented
items to the Board and answered questions.
Acting-Chairman Lewis Miltenberger opened and closed the public hearing at 6:54:09 p.m.
Michael Waldman entered a motion to approve ZBA Case #530 as presented.
