Agenda Item #1 Call to Order: Darrell Faglie called the meeting to order at 6:26:10 p.m. Agenda Item #2 Approval of the Minutes: The minutes of the May 26, 2005 Regular Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting were deemed approved by Acting - Chairman Darrell Faglie as presented. Motion: Mayer Second: Smart Ayes: Waldman, Faglie, Smart, Lambert, Mayer Nays: None Vote: 5 - 0 to Approve Agenda Item #3 Administrative Comments: Mr. Bryner, Senior Planner, announced the next meeting dates will be on June 30, and July 14. Acting - Chairman Faglie read the meeting format outline. Agenda Item #4 ZBA Case # 460, Special Exception Use Permit for an accessory buildine of a size greater than permitted in the zoning district: Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (3) permitting the construction of accessory buildings or structures of a size or aggregate size greater than that permitted under the accessory building requirements of the zoning district in which the property lies. The applicant is requesting to construct a detached garage of approximately two thousand four hundred (2,400) square feet of floor area making the total square footage for accessory buildings approximately three thousand two hundred seventy-five (3,275) square feet. The property is located at 1055 E. Dove Street, being legally described as Lot 4, A.H. Chivers No. 299 Addition, and being approximately 2.3 acres. Mr. Bryner reported that seven (7) notices were sent to property owners within 200 feet and no (0) responses were received. The applicant, Michael Miller, 1055 E. Dove Road, Southlake, TX, presented this item to the Board and answered questions. Acting - Chairman Faglie opened and closed the public hearing at 6:36:20 p.m. A motion was made to approve item case no. ZBA-460, as presented. Motion: Mayer Second: Waldman Ayes: Smart, Lambert, Waldman, Mayer, Faglie Nays: None Vote: 5 - 0 to Approve Agenda Item #5 ZBA Case # 461, Special Exception Use Permit for a family quarter and Variance to gross inhabitable square footage: Special Exception Use Permit per Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1), for servant/family quarters and Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 44.12 (1) requiring that servant/family quarters be limited to a gross inhabitable square footage of not more than one thousand (1,000) square feet. The applicant is requesting to have a family quarter as part of the main residence with a floor area of approximately one thousand two hundred (1,200) square feet. The property is located at 300 W. Highland Street, being legally described as Lot 10, T.M. Hood No. 706 Addition, and being approximately 2.135 acres. Mr. Bryner reported that eleven (11) notices were sent to property owners within 200 feet and two (2) responses were received. The property owner, Steve Douglas, 300 W. Highland St., Southlake, TX, presented this item to the Board and answered questions.
