This is the Public's opportunity to address Southlake Arts Council about non -agenda items. During
this proceeding, Southlake Arts Council will not discuss, consider, or act on any items presented.
Southlake Arts Council respectfully asks anyone speaking during Public Forum to limit remarks to

A. Election of the Southlake Arts Council Vice -Chair and Secretary
B. Recommend approval of a contract with Artist Eric Dowdle, dba Dowdle Studios, in an amount
not to exceed $120,000 for art to be installed in the City of Southlake for its 70th Anniversary
C. Approve the Public Art Display Permit for the CISD Student Artwork Exhibit
D. Reschedule the November meeting to Tuesday, November 18, 2025

Chair Tamara McMillan presented item 2A, approval of the minutes from
the September 23, 2025, Southlake Arts Council meeting.

SECRETARY
Business Manager Milenka Lopez presented Item 4A and was available to
answer questions.

A motion was made to keep the positions from last year. The Southlake
Arts Council elected Leslie Walker as Vice -Chair and Julie Doyle as
Secretary.

Business Manager of Community Services, Milenka Lopez, presented the
finalists' submissions with revisions, and the Southlake Arts Council discussed
recommending Brandon Taylor's submission.
Direction to Staff: Reach out to Brandon Taylor with the Standard Arts Contract
for the next meeting.
5B. HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS DISCUSSION
Business Manager of Community Services, Milenka Lopez, presented Item 5B,
and the Arts Council discussed possible booth activities. The Arts Council made
the decision to do the same activity as last year.

5D. PUBLIC ART PROGRAM UPDATE
Community Services Business Manager Milenka Lopez provided an update on the
Public Art Program and was available to answer questions.

Southlake Arts Council member, Terri Messing, gave an update on upcoming
APEX events and was available to answer questions.
