Carrus Care Southlake would be a clinic encompassing up to three providers: a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist MD/DO, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (opposite days of the MD/DO), and two therapists. There is also a Registered Nurse staffed at each clinic. The facility plans to house thirty patients or fewer. The clinical structure of the facility shall include private examination rooms and group therapy rooms. The clinic's operating hours shall be Monday through Friday, 08:00 — 17:00 hrs., and it will be closed on weekends and holidays. Patients at this clinic will be stable from a medical and mental health standpoint and will attend the clinic on a short- term basis to ensure that ongoing therapy and treatment plans are effective. There will be no narcotic or other controlled medications stored or administered on -site at this location. This location focuses on mental health therapy for stabilized individuals. Patients shall arrive via private automobile with their parents and be escorted in and out of the building by Carrus staff. Carrus Care Clinics operates in Sherman, McKinney, Frisco, Flower Mound, and Mansfield. In addition to Southlake, we are opening additional locations in Rowlett, Keller, Plano, and Tyler. In conjunction with local physicians, our program will work with the local school district, private and charter schools, and other youth programs to provide local access to mental healthcare for this patient population. We have found that working with our community partners results in successful outcomes and re -integration into everyday daily routines following mental health treatment. Thank you for the opportunity to present to the Southlake Planning & Development Committee for the third time.
