The presentation will outline how budget funding is allocated in connection with boards and commissions, review current programming, including adaptive recreation programs, highlight the City’s annual ADA investments, and examine other support, such as the Call-A-Ride Southlake (CARS) program and Miracle League. This discussion will also connect how policy guidance from boards and commissions can influence the development of future programs and investment priorities. B.Discuss Fiscal Year 2026 Draft Strategic Priorities The purpose of this item is to review and discuss draft strategic priorities for the Advisory Commission on Persons with Disabilities for FY 2026. The goal is to ensure a shared understanding of the Commission’s priorities for the upcoming year. Following the discussion, staff will survey members to rank their top priorities, which will guide the development of the FY 2026 work plan and meeting agendas. C.Review Draft Logo Concepts The purpose of this item is for ACPD members to review draft brand standards and logo concepts developed for the Commission. Members will be asked to provide feedback and direction to staff to guide the creation of a final logo that will represent the ACPD moving forward. Assistant City Manager Stacey Black presented item 4A, approval of the Bylaws for the Advisory Commission on Persons with Disabilities. APPROVED A motion was made to approve the Bylaws for the Advisory Commission on Persons with Disabilities as written.
