Agenda Item #2 Approval of the Minutes: Mr. Stacy noted corrections to be made to the minutes for the July 24, 2003 meeting regarding the wording used in identifying square footages for the request on agenda item number 5. The minutes of the July 24, 2003 Regular Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting and the minutes of the September 30, 2003 Regular Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting were deemed approved by Chairman Miltenberger as corrected. Motion: Stacy Second: Faglie Ayes: Faglie, Stacy, Vice-Chairman Reynal, Smart, Chairman Miltenberger Nayes : 0 Vote: 5-0 to approve (Lambert absent) Agenda Item #3 Administrative Comments: None Agenda Item #4 ZBA Case # 418 Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 33.14: Variance to Ordinance No. 480, Section 33.14, requiring a minimum lot size of one acre for the use of an on-premise septic tank and subsurface drainage field. The Applicant is requesting a variance to allow construction of a residential home with an on-premise septic system on a lot being less than one acre. The location is 1730 Randol Mill Avenue, being legally described as Tract 2136 of the W. Martin Survey, Abstract No. 1068, and being approximately 0.8 acres. Ben Bryner, planner, reported that five (14) notices were sent to property owners within 200 feet and three (3) responses were received in favor. (Mr. Lambert arrived at 6:40 p.m.) The applicant, Dan Wiggins, 906 Hillcrest Trail, Southlake, TX, presented this item to the board. Chairman Miltenberger opened the public hearing at 6:48 p.m. No one from the audience came forward to speak in favor or in opposition to this item. Chairman Miltenberger closed the public hearing at 6:49 p.m. The findings were stated by Chairman Miltenberger. A motion subject to the findings was made to approve the Variance to Ordinance No. 480 Section 33.14 for ZBA Case #418 as presented requiring that the applicant work with Staff to look into the feasibility of connecting to the City's sanitary sewer system.
