TO THE HONORABLE RAILROAD COMMISSION OF TPX; S:
The expense involved in conducting an observed depreciation study
for the City of Southlake would be approxin~otely $8,587, which cost would be
borne by the residential and commercial co4~umers in the City of Southlake.
Thus, it is in the interest of the ratepay,# s, as well as the Company, to waive
the conducting of an observed depreciation study in order to lessen the time and
expense of processing this appeal.
THEREFORE, it is hereby stil~~lated by and between Lone Star Gas
Company and the City of Southlake, Texas, Porties herein, that the proper
adjustment for age and condition to the regpnstruction cost new component to the
rate base in this proceeding shall be fiftl-pn percent (15%).
