RESOLUTION NO. 77-12
WHEREAS, there was held in the City ofSouthlake, Texas, on the 2nd day of April,1977, an election for Mayor and City Coun-cilmen in Places 1 and 2; And,
WHEREAS, there were cast at said election519votesasshownintheofficialelectionreturnsheretoforelawfullysubmittedtotheCityCounciloftheCityofSouthlake, Texas,and filed with the City Secretary of said City;And,
WHEREAS, only duly qualified resident elec-tors of said City voted at said election, andsaidelectionwascalledandheldinstrictconformitywiththelawsoftheStateofTexas; And,
WHEREAS, the results of said election weredulycanvassedbytheCityCounciloftheCityofSouthlakeonthe4thdayofApril,1977, and showed the following results:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITYOFSOUTHLAKE, TEXAS, THAT:
1. The above canvass be and the same is hereby in all thingsapproved.
2. Martin Pat) Hawk be and is hereby declared to have beenelectedtotheofficeofMayortoserveuntilApril, 1979;A. C. Urbanosky be and is hereby declared to have beenelectedtotheofficeofCouncilman, Place 1, to serveuntilApril, 1979; and, Brad Popkin be and is hereby de-clared to have been 61ected to the office of Councilman,Place 2, to serve until April, 1979.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of April, 1977.
