RESOLUTION NO. 75-6
A RESOLUTION AUTBORIZING THE CITY OF EULESS
TO PURCHASE TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT IN BEHALF OF
THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE.
WHEREAS, the equipment presently available is not sufficient
to perform basic identification and record storage tasks And,
WHEREAS, the City of Southlake does not have sufficient finan-
cial resources to provide its law enforcement agency with this basic
equipment; And,
WHEREAS, the utilization of this equipment will allow the
City of Southlake's law enforcement agency to increase its capa-bility in the identification and record storage system and sub-
sequently have a better system; And,
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this City Council that the bestinterestofthecitizensoftheCityofSouthlakewillbeservedbyparticipatinginthiscooperativepurchasingprogram; Now;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS:
1. The City of Southlake desires to participate in the coop-erative purchase of technical equipment.
2. The City of Euless is authorized to enter into bindingcontractswithlowcompliantvendors) and to purchase
technical equipment in behalf of the City of Southlake.
3. This City understands that the Texas Criminal Justice
Division is providing 100 percent funding for the purchase
of the equipment.
4. To display the City's desire to participate in this pro-
gram, a copy of this resolution will be forwarded to the
City of Euless
