The undersigned, William Tate, Trustee, of Tarrant
County, Texas, hereinafter called Petitioner, represents as

1. That William Tate, Trustee, is the owner of a
tract of land out of the John Childress Survey, Abstract No. 254
in Tarrant County, Texas, more particularly described by metes
and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin in the East line of said Burney
tract and the West line of Block 2, Dove Estates Addi-
tion, according to plat recorded in Volume 388-69, Page
49, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, said point being

A plat of said land showing its location with respect to
the boundary of the City of Southlake, Texas, is attached hereto
marked EXHIBIT "A".
2. That the land described in EXHIBIT "A" hereto attached
is less than one-half mile in width; that less than three qualified
voters reside thereon, and is contiguous and adjacent to the City
of Southlake, Texas.
3. The Petitioner agrees that if this request for annexa-
tion be granted, said land shall become a part of the City of South-
lake, Texas, and the said land and any future inhabitants thereof
shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of other citizens
of the City of Southlake, and shall be bound by the acts and
ordinances of said City now in effect and as hereafter enacted.
WHEREFORE, the Petitioner respectfully requests that this
Petition for Annexation to the City of Southlake of the land
described in attached Exhibit be granted.
WITNESS the signature of Petitioner duly acknowledged as
required for deeds.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.
161 OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE BY
AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF THIRTY-THREE AND ONE-HALF ACRES
OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE
H. DECKER SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 438,
FROM AG (AGRICULTURE) DISTRICT TO F
LIGHT INDUSTRIAL) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning,
notice given to applicable property owners of public hearing,
notice of public hearing published, and public hearing having
been conducted, all in compliance with Ordinance No. 161, of
the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of South-
lake, , Texas :
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City
Council of the City of Southlake, Texas April 2, 1974, and being
the "Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar
as the thirty-three and one half acres of land, more or
less, being 33.63 acres of land out of the H. Decker Survey,Abstract
No. 438, Tarrant County, Texas more particularly described
by metes and bounds as follows:
