AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 161,OFTHECITYOFSOUTHLAKEBYAMENDINGTHEZON-
ING CLASSIFICATION OF TWENTY-ONE ACRES OF
LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE THOMAS MAHAN
SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 1049, FROM AG (AGRI-CULTURE) DISTRICT TO F (LIGHT INDUSTRIAL)DISTRICT..
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice given
to applicable property owners of public hearing, notice of public hearing
published, and public hearing having been conducted, all in compliance with
Ordinance No. 161 of the City of Southlake, Texas,
NOW, THEREFORE,
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Southlake, Texas:
SECTION 1. The certain Ordinance No. 161 passed by the City Council of the
City of Southlake, Texas, January 7, 1969, and being the""Comprehensive
Zoning Ordinance" is hereby amended insofar as the twenty-one acres of land,
more or less, owned by Anderson Industries, Incorporated, out of the Thomas
Mahan Survey, Abstract No. 1049, Tarrant' County, Texas, more particularly
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the center line of Kimball AvenueTarrantCountyRoadNo. 3119), said point being the mostSoutheastcornerofatractconveyedbyT; F. Monroe andwife, Cara Holmes, to A. J. Musick and wife, Marguerite,by Deed dated December 14, 1948, and recorded In Volume2054, Page 38 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas,and more particularly described as follows;THENCE from said point of beginning along the centerlineofKimballAvenueNorth1319.44 feet to a point for corner;THENCE West a distance of 235.80 feet to a point;THENCE North 8$1:47' 11" West a distance of 311,62 feet to
a point for corner;
THENCE South 26" 46' 01" West a distance of 440,49 feet to
a point for corner;
THENCE South 40 26' West a distance of 105.0 feet to
a point;
THENCE South a distance of 830.10 feet to a point in
the South line of the above described Musick tract;THENCE East a distance of 753,70 feet to the-place of
beginning and containing 21,9078 acres of land, ofwhich0.7572 acres is in the right-of-wale of KimballAvenue,
is changed from its prior zoning classification of A8 (Agriculture) District
to a zoning classification of F (Light Industrial) District.
SECT_ ION 2. The official Zoning Map created by said Ordinance No. 161 is
hereby amended to reflect the change in zoning classification made by this
Ordinance.
SECTION 3. The said Ordinance No. 161, except as.amended by this Ordinance
No. 161-45 and prior ordinance amendments, remains in effect in all other
respects as originally passed. This ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage,

DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, after receipt of request for change of zoning, notice given

more particularly described.by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of the..J. W. Hate Survey;THENCE North 147 varas a fence, in all 145 varas to corner;
THENCE Kest 428 varas a stake, (3/4 inch pipe);.
THENCE South 291-varas, a stake, (3/4 inch pipe);
THENCE West 40 varas a stake (fence corner);

No. 161-46 and prior ordinance amendments, remains in effect in all other
respects as originally passed. This ordinance shall tale effect upon its
passage.

WHEREAS, the City of Southlake, through its duly
appointed Tax Assessor, M. E. Whiteside, has been
advised of errors on the Tax Rolls for the years
of 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1971; And
WHEREAS, such errors have occurred through in-
accurate information and correct information has
just recently been ascertained, Now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTHLAKE,TEXAS, THAT:

Cancellation Items Nos. 44 through 53, issued from December 31, 1970,through September 30, 1972, totalling $94.86, are hereby cancelled for
the reason or reasons indicated on each individual item and removed
from the 1968 Tax Roll.

Cancellation Items Nos. 54 through 63, issued from December 31, 1970,through September 30, 1972, totalling $138.44, are hereby cancelled for
the reason or reasons indicated on each individual item and removed
